Insulin Resistance Likelihood
Insulin resistance is the hidden driver behind prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, and metabolic syndrome — and it affects roughly one in three adults. This evidence-based assessment uses body metrics, lifestyle factors, and optional blood work to estimate your likelihood. No lab results required.

What is insulin resistance?
Insulin resistance means your body's cells don't respond normally to insulin — the hormone that moves glucose from your blood into cells for energy. The pancreas compensates by producing more insulin, which can work for years before blood sugar begins to rise. By the time prediabetes is diagnosed, insulin resistance has often been present for a decade.
It's estimated that up to 40% of US adults have insulin resistance, many without knowing it. The GLP-1 era has brought new awareness to the underlying metabolic dysfunction that drives obesity and type 2 diabetes — and insulin resistance is the central mechanism.
